THE Bold and the Beautiful star Matthew Atkins has teased a big change ahead for his character Thomas.
Fans of the soap opera have been awaiting his return since March.

Matthew, 35, opened up about his impending return to The Bold and the Beautiful in an interview with Soap Opera Digest.
During his time away from the show, circumstances changed dramatically, and viewers speculate that this will impact his character.
The biggest twist that has fans buzzing is that Hope (Annika Noelle) appears to be interested in another man – namely Finn (Tanner Novlan), who is married to Thomas' sister.
Matthew weighed in on the potential drama ahead but was careful not to say too much.

"From Thomas' point of view, he knows nothing about it, and so maybe that helps my point of view," he told the outlet.
"I'll just say I know nothing about it. But yeah, there have definitely been some interesting changes [while] Thomas was out of town."
He added that The bold and the Beautiful teasing a link between Hope and Finn is "nothing that I wouldn't necessarily expect."
"If I was going to draw out a few things that the show might try, that would be one of them," he added.

While he stayed mum on many of the details, he did tease something big to come.
"Thomas has had one particular very large change in his life since he left down," he revealed.
"And when he comes back, it is something that shocks everyone."
Viewers will have to tune in and see what that big change is.

The actor married Brytnee Ratledge in November 2023.
He talked about married life in his interview with Digest.
"It's fantastic. Oh, being married is so awesome," he gushed.
"It helps having the most wonderful wife in the world, but year, it's amazing."
While he was off from The bold and the Beautiful, he and his wife did "a lot of travel, a lot of being married and having fun and going to play with the dog at the park."
He added, "And we actually went [on] a trip [of a lifetime] that we both always wanted to do, which is going to Ireland, Scotland and England. So we took off and spent a couple of weeks over there.
"We've just been moving and grooving."
BOLD NEW ADDITIONS
In addition to the Thomas-Hope storyline ahead, fans can expect some exciting new faces.
The Bold and the Beautiful cast Crew Morrow, son of The Young and the Restless star Joshua Morrow, to play Will Spencer.
Crew will take over for Finnegan George, 14.
Will is the son of Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
The character was last seen on the series in 2020 at the age of 10, and now viewers will get to see a grown up version of him on the show.

Crew started filming new episodes on June 14, according to Deadline.
This is the teen actor's first major TV role.
