The legendary quarterback is already getting started with some football responsibilities, as he made a surprise appearance for the UFL Championship game.

On Wednesday, Brady appeared on FS1 show The Herd with Colin Cowherd to talk about his upcoming season of commentary.

Brady discussed multiple topics, but the biggest point of interest was his thoughts about the upcoming season and how he doesn't want to let fans down.

"I think there’s so much more room for improvement," Brady said.

"Almost like when I was a player, I never felt like I did things the right way.

"There were games where I’d go in afterward and think, 'God, I’m the worst quarterback in the NFL. Why would they even want me to play quarterback for this team?'

"And I’m sure I’m going to feel that way here at Fox, where I finish a game and go, ‘God I didn’t even give them what they wanted.’

"It’s a very challenging thing in your own mind. I’ve asked a few people: ‘How do you know that you did a good job?’"

Brady put an emphasis on preparation, saying he can ensure he's ready for the game by putting in the work during the week leading up to the game.

"I think for me, so much is going to come down to the preparation. Did I feel like I was prepared? Did I feel like our crew was prepared?" Brady said.

"Did I give them my best over the course of the week so that we could give ourselves the best opportunity to be successful for the fans?

"Really, the game is the show. We’re there to add our take and analysis on it. But it’s also, did we feel like we added to the broadcast?

"From my standpoint, I’m going to work as hard as I can at the process of it to make sure that I do deliver, because I don’t want to let anyone down.

"I don’t wanna let the people at Fox here down and I certainly don’t want to let the great NFL fans down either."

There are still a few months before Brady makes his debut during the NFL season, but he impressed in his UFL appearance.

Brady will make his debut alongside Kevin Burkhardt on September 8 for the Week 1 matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns.

After that, Brady will be on the call for Fox NFL over the next 10 years after signing a mega deal in retirement.
