Cohen said he comes to London fairly often due to work, and felt he was qualified to judge the respective food merits of the two cities.

"I think the food here is fantastic," Cohen said.

"I think it's better than New York."

As you can imagine fans were quick to have their say on those comments on X, the site formerly known as Twitter.

And many of them are none too happy with London being placed over New York.

"This is ridiculous," one fan said.

"He must be talking about the billionaire level food," another person wrote.

"The food is so good the best he could come up with is a sausage patty on white bread lol," a third person said.

"I've spent a lot of time in both cities, and the food in New York is a lot better," a fourth person wrote.

In fairness, not everyone disagreed with his comments however.

"London is exactly like NYC, an international crossroads filled with people from every culture on the planet. Of course the food is great in London," one fan said.

Big crowds were at the Olympic Stadium in east London for the MLB games between the Mets and Phillies.

This was the third MLB series to take place in London.

The first of those came when the New York Yankees met the Boston Red Sox in 2019.

That was followed by last year's games between the Chicago Cubs and St Louis Cardinals.

The game was decided by an explosive six-run fourth inning for the Phillies.

That resulted in the Mets' starting pitcher Sean Manaea being pulled.

But they produced a thrilling comeback to win 6-5.
