IF you've already splashed out on an Apple TV, you might as well save some money on your streaming bills.
There's a mammoth selection of free movies and TV shows on Apple TV – you just need to download the right apps.
The U.S. Sun has picked out three top downloads that will instantly unlock an enormous library of no-cost content.
There is a catch, however: all three of these apps will make you sit through commercials.
But it's a small price to pay when you consider that you're getting almost endless TV to watch – including live channels.
By combining all three of these apps, you might find yourself able to ditch some of those premium subscriptions and save money each month.

It also serves up Tubi Originals content, also available on-demand.
And it promises a selection of nearly 250 free ad-supported TV channels.
APPLE TV FREE APP #2 – Plex
Next on the list is Plex, which didn't actually begin life as an ad-supported Netflix rival.
Instead it started as a way to stream your personal media – videos you had stored on a laptop or media server – to a screen of your choice.
This let you set up what was sort of like your own personal Netflix.
The feature is still available today, but Plex now also has its own content available.
The company's streaming service launched in late 2019 and now has a vast selection of content.
It promises around 850 live TV channels if you're viewing in the U.S.
