Smith starred on the popular ESPN sports talk show alongside Molly Qerim, Andraya Carter, Brian Windhorst, and Monica McNutt.

The hot topic was, of course, the previous night's NBA Finals drama as the Boston Celtics secured their 18th title with a 106-88 win against the Dallas Mavericks.

Following the show, Smith opted to remain in his suit as he left the studios.

He completed his look with a striped white shirt, patterned tie, black leather shoes, and sunglasses.

Stepping out into the summer sunshine, Smith seemed unphased by the heat in the Seaport District, with New York experiencing a heatwave.

Smith was spotted by The U.S. Sun leaving alongside a security guard.

The two could be seen chatting as they left the studio.

Co-host Qerim was also snapped leaving the studio, stopping to chat with friends along the way.

As always, she too stunned in her summery outfit.

Qerim's ensemble included a sheer black sleeveless dress, green heels, sunglasses, and a crucifix necklace.

Beaming in the sun, she stopped to chat with friends on her way home.

Carter, however, opted not to remain in the stunning purple outfit she'd worn on air.

Instead, she changed into a pair of sweats, a WNBA logo t-shirt, and white sneakers.

Whilst leaving, Carter took the time to stop to take a selfie with fans as she wheeled her belongings with her in a suitcase.

First Take viewing figures

First Take went from strength to strength under the guidance of Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim last year.

The weekday ESPN debate show averaged 496,000 viewers in 2023 - making it the most-watched year in program history.

Its December average of 611,000 was a 24% year-on-year increase compared to 2022.

The show also reported more than 250 million views on YouTube.

First Take was helped by the addition of Shannon Sharpe alongside Smith and Qerim after he left Fox Sports' Undisputed.

Elsewhere, Get Up! host Mike Greenberg was spotted outside the studios in a dark blue pair of suit pants, white shirt, and black leather shoes.

Smith and Qerim have co-hosted First Take since 2015 when she replaced Cari Champion.

In September 2023, NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe joined the show.

He appears every Monday and Tuesday, usually virtually.
