Hosted by Portnoy and Brianna LaPaglia, they were joined on this recording by Kelly Trotta and Maddie Schrader.

In the clip, LaPaglia asked Portnoy, "Do you have a scratch on your neck? Like a cut?"

"Yeah. You're the first person to ask," he responded, showing a close-up look at the fresh scar on his neck.

"Is that stitches?" asked LaPaglia following gasps.

"Yeah, Cancer," Portnoy said nonchalantly.

The clip refrained from giving any further information away about Portnoy's diagnosis or treatment.

Captioned, "Dave beat cancer (but he doesn't want to talk about it)," the post quickly drew responses from well-wishers.

"Dave can't lose! He's a winner at everything!!! Hope all is well!" one wrote.

"Dave! Hope you are doing well," said a second.

"Sending prayers they got it all!!" added another.

I will not apologize, Dave Portnoy slammed for 'shameful' act at Tom Brady's New England Patriots HOF ceremony

While a fourth replied, "Cancer can't get Dave."

It was noted in the comments by the show that the full episode will be released at 8pm ET on Wednesday.

The only other clip from the episode to have been released early includes a discussion of whether or not avid Boston Celtics fan Portnoy plans to attend their NBA Championship parade.

"I swore off parades, but we haven't had one," he noted.

"It's only fun in high school," LaPaglia commented.

What the new TV deal means for the NBA?

By The U.S. Sun's Assistant Sports Editor Damian Burchardt.

THE new TV rights deal is promising to be a humongous win for NBA players.

The league is set to more than double the revenue coming from its media partners, pocketing about $6.9 billion per year, which will inevitably lead to a huge salary cap spike in 2025-26.

That is going to send the value of player contracts skyrocketing.

Projected figures suggest we might see the first $100 million-per-year deal being signed soon.

Currently, Boston Celtics All-Star Jaylen Brown is projected to earn the highest single-season salary in NBA history, collecting $65.1 million in 2028-29.

It does feel like basketball fans would be on the losing side of the fight if the NBA and TNT indeed parted ways, though.

Inside the NBA is a one-of-a-kind sports entertainment show, as evidenced by ESPN's ongoing failure to come up with its own version of the program in recent years.

The NBA won't be the same without Kenny and Ernie trying to make sense of Shaq and Chuck's never-ending bickering every Tuesday night.

Admitting that he would have to find a secure spot should he decide to attend, Portnoy claimed a duck boat could be an option.

He added that he felt he likely could get a spot on a boat if he were to ask, "But that's kind of pretty unbecoming."

Boston will celebrate their NBA record 18th title on Friday, with the parade scheduled to kick off at 11am ET.

The duck boat parade will start on Causeway Street by the TD Garden, finishing by the Hynes Convention Center on Boylston Street, as per the City.

The parade will also be available to watch from home on NBA TV as well as the NBA App.
