McNutt signed off for the season after Boston's 106-88 win at TD Garden secured a 4-1 series win.

She celebrated by posting a number of throwback snaps from throughout the Celtics' postseason run.

Monica was joined by ESPN regulars Kendrick Perkins and Brian Windhorst for Game 5 in Boston.

And she uploaded a stunning video from the stands of the very moment the Celtics made history.

"Just a few swipes on the series," McNutt told her 162,000 Instagram followers.

"Congrats to all my ppl with the [Celtics].

"Hoop streams crew, had a blast, radio squad, my ppl!"

"All the looks are top tier!!" replied one fan in the comment section.

"Hell of a season!!!!! Congratulations Sis!" commented another.

"You are the queen of ESPN," added a third.

"The way you shine amongst your peers is amazing. I absolutely love it," said a fourth.

McNutt joined ESPN in 2019 and has been a regular on First Take since 2021.

She was recently embroiled in a public feud with co-star Stephen A. Smith after clashing on-air over the show's coverage of the WNBA.

Smith claimed the ESPN show had "done more" than any other to push the WNBA in recent years.

'Who talks more about the WNBA?'

Stephen A. Smith had a run in with Monica McNutt on First Take about women's basketball this week.

Smith said that he didn't like how he needed to "watch every syllable" when talking about the WNBA, but McNutt wasn't happy with his statement.

"Welcome to the world of being a woman, Stephen A," she said.

"How you have to dance about your word choice and how you have to please everybody and anybody as you navigate your being."

Stephen A. gave a comment that really fired McNutt up.

"Who talks more about the WNBA, who talks about women's sports more than First Take?" Stephen A. said.

McNutt clearly was irked by his question and set the record straight on live TV.

"Stephen A., respectfully, with your platform, you could have been doing this three years ago if you wanted to," McNutt said.

Molly Qerim and Shannon Sharpe both looked stunned, and Qerim tried to get the show to a commercial break, but the awkward moment continued.

After Stephen A. muttered "wow," McNutt gave him a reassurance that she thinks he could have done more.

"You're my guy," McNutt said.

"But I'm talking to you."

"You're my girl," Smith replied.

"But you've missed a lot of episodes of First Take."

"Stephen A., respectfully, with your platform, you could have been doing this three years ago if you wanted to," McNutt replied.

Monica joined The Daily Show last week to discuss the fallout of the high-profile row and has since returned to First Take duties.

"My point is that this narrative that it's the league vs. Caitlin Clark is just absolutely false," she said.

"It's unfair to the women who have been there building this league to this moment so Caitlin Clark's popularity can take it to the next level.

"By the end of the [First Take] broadcast, the tone had changed.

"I needed to put my foot down a little bit."
