Boston secured an 18th NBA title following a 4-1 series win over the Dallas Mavericks.

The team partied the night away after beating the Mavs 106-88 on Monday at TD Garden.

Stevens was among those who enjoyed the celebrations, with Boston ending a 16-year title drought.

"We will enjoy tonight," Stevens told reporters on Monday following Boston's 18th title.

"But that draft workout tomorrow, that should be fun."

Stevens was true to his word, with executives back at the Auerbach Center on Tuesday morning to welcome six draft prospects.

A number of office personnel had "not slept at all" following the raucous celebrations, per The Boston Globe.

"This is peak Boston - let's do it again next year," laughed one fan in response.

"It’s all about 19!" said another.

"Champions never sleep," declared a third.

"The front office is either going to fall asleep or fall irrationally in love with these prospects, no middle ground," joked a fourth.

The Celtics currently have two picks in this year's draft, which takes place on June 26.

They hold the No. 30 overall pick and also hold No. 54 (via Dallas) in the second round.

Stevens was named the NBA's Executive of the Year in April after the Celtics won a league-leading 64 games in the regular season.

He was instrumental in bringing stars Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis to the organization last offseason.

What the new TV deal means for the NBA?

By The U.S. Sun's Assistant Sports Editor Damian Burchardt.

THE new TV rights deal is promising to be a humongous win for NBA players.

The league is set to more than double the revenue coming from its media partners, pocketing about $6.9 billion per year, which will inevitably lead to a huge salary cap spike in 2025-26.

That is going to send the value of player contracts skyrocketing.

Projected figures suggest we might see the first $100 million-per-year deal being signed soon.

Currently, Boston Celtics All-Star Jaylen Brown is projected to earn the highest single-season salary in NBA history, collecting $65.1 million in 2028-29.

It does feel like basketball fans would be on the losing side of the fight if the NBA and TNT indeed parted ways, though.

Inside the NBA is a one-of-a-kind sports entertainment show, as evidenced by ESPN's ongoing failure to come up with its own version of the program in recent years.

The NBA won't be the same without Kenny and Ernie trying to make sense of Shaq and Chuck's never-ending bickering every Tuesday night.

"We all watched the team the last few years," Celtics majority owner Wyc Grousbeck said on Monday.

"Great teams, but not quite there.

"Brad was brilliant - we knew we needed to make changes. And he got it done."

The Celtics now have the most NBA titles of any franchise.

Their 18th title moves them ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers on the all-time list.
