‘The US needs laws about naming children,’ people rage about baby name that ‘sounds like some rare but horrible disease’

Redditor Any_Author_5951 shared the baby names in a viral post.

"A teacher’s worst nightmare…the most unpronounceable names ever?" they wrote.

While the names were strange to them, they hoped that they seemed less outlandish to others.

"If anyone has ever heard any of these names, please let me know," they said.

"I don’t watch TV much except for Mickey Mouse and Sesame Street, so maybe these names are from something,

"I want to note that if the names are cultural, I mean no offense. All of the parents' names are extremely normal, which makes these names even more of a mystery."

The list of strange baby names included Vancrosous Astaroth, F-nson S, Miikawaadizi Josephine, Kakashi Kaiya Hatake, Miinaande Kaladyn Kayne, and Allggie Daniel.

Unfortunately for the educator, other viewers were equally, if not more, confused.

"Vancrosous Astaroth sounds like some rare but horrible disease," said one commenter.

"Like 'the poor man just wasted away due to an aggressive form of Vancrosous Astaroth.'"

"Vancrosous sounds like some sort of fast-moving degenerative disease. Or one of the stages of human decomposition. Yikes," agreed another.

One viewer was not pleased to recognize the unique name's origin.

"I’m sorry ASTAROTH??? As in the DUKE OF HELL FROM THE F**KING LESSER KEY OF SOLOMON?" they asked.

"I feel like that’s the absolute worst one of them all once you have that context. It’s an actual demon’s name."

Others attempted to decipher some of the more difficult-to-pronounce names.

"Is the second one pronounced Fadashenson or Fhyphenson?" joked one commenter.

"Eff-in-Son," said another.

"This country really needs to make laws about naming children," said one exasperated commenter.

"It's clear Americans cannot be trusted with anything."

"I agree, and I am American," the Redditor replied.

"Please make a law! A banned name list, something to help the innocent babies."
