IT'S the day that some kids wait every year for, while others dread.

But if your child is one of the latter, LadBaby Mum, aka Roxanne Hoyle, has a clever hack to give them a boost at the starting line on Sports' Day.

She took to her Instagram Stories to share a picture of herself standing on the grass of the Sports' Day location, writing over the top: "Finally Sports Day is here!"

"Which means only one thing… the Power Up Mario star is back again."

She then shared a snap of said star, which she'd drawn on her boys' arms.

"This is my Superstar Sports' Day Power Up hack for any parents struggling with their kids' confidence on Sports' Day," Rox went on to explain.

"Simply draw a Super Mario invincible star on their arm, then tell them to push it at the start line of any races."

She added that giving kids the chance to push the star will "give them the confidence and powers to run, jump and throw like Super Mario".

"Fingers crossed this little hack works for some of you too and gives you and your kids the confidence to enjoy Sports' Day," she concluded.

And it seems the hack worked well for her sons, as she then shared a picture of a 1st and 3rd position sticker.

"So proud of both my boys!" she wrote, adding a sticker which read "Believe in Yourself" at the top of the image.

Rox had previously shared the hack in a picture on her grid, with people quickly praising her for the simple but effective trick.

LadBaby Mum turns heads for all the right reasons as she embraces the neon trend on adults-only weekend away in Ibiza

"Oh my God, I love this simple but so so brilliant visual aid in letting your kids know you believe in them," one wrote.

"OH MY GOODNESS THIS IS A GREAT IDEA!! I'M ON IT!!" another added.

"I absolutely love this idea! My little girls loves Mario & struggles with her confidence, I’m definitely gonna give this a go," a third commented.

"Totally FANTASTIC," someone else said.

What kind of parent are you at Sports Day?

REGARDLESS of what school your child goes to, you can be sure you'll find all these kinds of parents when it comes to Sports Day. So which one are you?

Tiger parent

If you consider yourself a Tiger parent, then you might have already been helping your kids practice for the big event at home. Tiger parents have incredibly high expectations for their kids, so you'll likely be at the finish line to help motivate them to victory.

Helicopter parent

If you're a helicopter parent, then you're most likely to already have signed up to help out with the organisation of Sports' Day, as well as on the day itself. You'll be keeping a close eye on your kids when they're in action, ensuring there are no injuries or mistakes in their positions.

Working parent

Working parents can be spotted a mile away at Sports' Day. They'll often turn up to the event wearing their suit, or even uniform from their job, and may even miss part of the occasion.

Photographer parent

If you think yourself talented with a camera, then Sports' Day is the perfect occasion to show off your skills. You're likely to be found at the finishing line, taking snaps of your kids in action, as well as pushing through other parents to get to the front and centre for photo-taking.

Rox and Mark are parents to two boys - Phoenix, eight, and Kobe, six.

And they're known for sharing a parenting hack or two, and even released their own book Parenting for £1 to help mums and dads cut costs as their kids grow up.

They've since branched out into kids' books, and have enjoyed huge success with their Greg the Sausage Roll series, with the latest instalment The World's Funniest Unicorn due for release this August.
