She wrote: "How different people react to my baby daughter's name when they're too polite to tell me they hate it."

The first mum, she revealed would follow up on the name reveal making a collection of random noises to try and disguise her hate for the name.

Another reaction Gigi has seen a lot since picking her daughter's name was having parents repeat the moniker over and over again to cover up their horror.

The mum added that some parents were so horrified they were left unable to speak.

"The woman who is too disgusted to say anything," she said.

But some people do try to cover up the fact they hate it.

Gigi explains you can tell when they don't mean it as they repeat 'that's lovely' over and over again.

"Even though it makes her physically sick," she continued.

But the mum said she appreciated those who pretended she hadn't ruined her daughter's life with her unusual name.

"Big love to all of these women for at least trying to hide the fact they think I’ve ruined my daughter’s life," Gigi captioned the post.

The clip posted to the mum's TikTok account @candygigiyoung has since gone viral with over 244k views and 23k likes.

People were quick to share their thoughts in the comments with many loving her daughter's unique moniker.

One person wrote: "My son is called Reign and I get this all the time, soon as they say “oh that’s different” I know they hate it."

Another commented: "Or the ones who pretend they don’t know how to pronounce it."

"My youngest has a very unusual name and this is very accurate," penned a third.

Are Unique Baby Names Worth The Hassle?

Fabulous' Deputy Editor reveals the turmoil she faced with her own name while growing up.

When I was a child, all I wanted was one of those personalised keyrings with my name on it.

But no joy, the closest I could find was Rosie, Joseph (not great for a little girl) and Joanne.

Josie is short for Josephine, which is a French name, and I managed to reach my 20s without ever meeting anyone who shared it.

When I try to introduce myself to people, I get all sorts of random things - like Tracey and Stacey - which can be pretty annoying.

Although I have come into contact with a couple of Josies over the last year - there seems to be a few of us around my age - it’s still a much rarer name than most of my friends have.

On the whole I don’t mind it, at least it’s not rude or crazily spelt.

And it means I can get away with ‘doing a Cheryl’ and just referring to myself as Josie.

I’m getting married this year and some friends are shocked that I’m changing my surname, as it’s not seen as very cool or feminist to do so these days, but I explain to them that I’m not that attached to Griffiths as I’d always just say ‘hi it’s Josie’ when ringing a mate up.

I think it’s nice to be unique and I’ll definitely try and replicate this when naming my own kids.

It’s the rude names you’ve got to watch out for, so after nine years as a lifestyle journalist I’ll definitely be avoiding those.

Meanwhile a fourth said: "No cause that’s like the cutest name ever."

"Nah but people be wilding with names nowadays,” claimed a fifth.
