AMERICAN Pickers star Mike Wolfe is getting into the restaurant business with a pizzeria that will feature a stage for karaoke, a fire pit and more amenities.

Mike, 59, has been opening various businesses in recent years, as he’s reportedly gearing up to retire from the long-running History Channel series.

The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal Mike’s next business venture is a pizza restaurant.

According to property records viewed by The U.S. Sun, Mike dropped $600,000 on the commercial real estate on September 15, 2022.

The 976-square-foot space was built in 1953.

In exclusive photos obtained by The U.S. Sun, the property was under construction.

A source told The U.S. Sun: “It’s going to be a restaurant. They are going to sell pizza, soda, that kind of stuff.

“Construction workers are building a stage for karaoke, a fire pit and a pergola in front of the building.”

Mike even stopped by the property on the morning of November 3 to check out the progress, as he appeared pleased with the work.

In photos exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun, Mike could even be seen showing workers exactly what to do to execute his vision.

The building has a photo of the final outcome, including a modern black gate, white pergola, circular red brick fire pit, stage, and outdoor seating.

Earlier this week, Mike posted a photo on Instagram of the outside of the building with construction workers hard at work.

He captioned the photo: “It’s time to choose plants for the 1940s Esso Station Courtyard project. This property will have an intimate unique experience In the heart of @visitcolumbia TN Historic District.

"Come see all this little town has to offer. Big thanks to @tmoney_design For helping make all the green decisions.”

The soon-to-be restaurant is just steps away from Mike’s vacation rental Two Lanes and his car garage Columbia Motor Alley, as the star is working to give the sleepy town, which is about an hour south of Nashville, new life.

READY TO RETIRE?

The new business comes as the American Pickers star may be ready to retire from the long-running hit show

A pal of Mike’s previously told The U.S. Sun: “I don’t know how long the show will last. I don’t know how long Mike and Robbie want to do this. I think they would like to retire at some point. It’s been 12 years.

“It’s a strain on your life. They’ve done this a long time. When they’re around it’s, ‘Ah we’re on the road again. I ain’t got time to do this, I ain’t got time to do that.’

“It’s a love-hate like with any job. Some days you don’t wish you had that job and you could do whatever you wanted. Some days you’re all excited about your job.”

Mike has been on American Pickers since the debut episode in 2010.

BUSINESS EMPIRE

Aside from appearing on American Pickers, Mike has many businesses to his name

He owns vacation rental Two Lanes and bike shop Columbia Motor Alley, both just down the block from the new restaurant.

He owns store Antique Archaeology with locations in Le Claire, Iowa and Nashville, Tennessee.

Back in 1999, he opened up Wolfe’s Village Bike in Eldridge, Iowa, where he taught bicycle history and safety.

The business continues to be active today with his sister Beth Welzenbach listed as an agent of the company.

He launched MRW Properties the same year, where he continues to buy real estate and restore properties.
