But although her uplifting content inspires thousands, Nelly has revealed that it doesn’t go without trolling too.

In a recent video shared to Instagram, Nelly clapped back at the haters who have criticised her figure.

In the candid clip, Nelly danced around in a red skirt and a matching bikini top, as she proudly showed off her tummy and hip dips.

Alongside the clip, which has now racked up over 30,000 likes, Nelly revealed a comment that she often hears from keyboard warriors - “you don’t have the body type for that outfit”.

But clearly unphased by the rude remark, Nelly jokingly jumped around her bedroom, as she snapped back and mimed along to an audio that said: “And she gave…no f***s. Not even one. And she lived happily ever after.”

Social media users were inspired by Nelly’s body confidence clip and many flocked to the comments to express this.

One person said: "This made me smile - you are the funniest and most beautiful, I can't!!"

Another replied: "Omg girl you look gorgeous, I think I fell in love with the red lip though. Curvy and slay."

A third wrote: "Hmmmmm that's funny! Clothing is made for bodies, not the other way around. By the way, This outfit looks adorable on you."

Meanwhile, someone else commented: "Honestly Nelly thank you so much for introducing me to so many creators just like yourself who have done nothing but improved my life and self image.

I tried and tested Kylie Jenner's hip pads for a 'magic' hourglass figure

"Little by little I'm learning to be kinder to myself and just let myself exist!

"And it's so liberating and beautiful and I wouldn't have known a life like this could be possible until I started flooding my feed with people like you and your content and I'll forever be grateful.

"Thank you for existing and spreading the message you do."

OWNING HER INSECURITIES

Nelly has spent almost a decade worrying about her tummy and hip dips, but has now taken ownership of her insecurities and spends time celebrating them.

She revealed that she came up with the nickname ‘the girl with the hip dips’ after struggling with the size of the indents on the tops of her legs for many years.

The influencer previously told Fabulous: “For my whole life - my genuine biggest insecurity was my hip dips.

Yes, my hip dips are prominent, and to be fair, I’ve never met anyone with hip dips as stand-out as mine

Nelly London

“It was not just the size of my body but mainly the shape - with having such prominent hip dips, it’s something that I never, ever saw anywhere, it was never in images I would see in magazines, billboards or TV.

“I genuinely believed that I had a birth deformity and that it was an issue with my body that I would need surgically correcting, because I had never seen anyone with a body like mine. I really thought there was something wrong with me.

“Yes, my hip dips are prominent, and to be fair, I’ve never met anyone with hip dips as stand-out as mine, but most people do have them to some extent, mine just happen to be stronger.

“There’s nothing wrong with them - so when I started taking ownership of that part of my body, that was my personal big thing and once I got over that I needed to see someone being confident and powerful in this body, letting me know that it was normal, so that’s how it’s become my thing”.
