John York, famously known for his role as Malcolm "Mac" Scorpio, returned to General Hospital on Wednesday's episode.
The actor made his first appearance as the character on the soap series in 1991.
On GH's official X, formerly Twitter account, they shared a screenshot of Mac smiling and hugging his family tight.

In September, he revealed on social media that he was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and smoldering multiple myeloma.
These two forms of cancer impact the blood and the bone marrow.
During his time, he discussed he underwent chemotherapy and was fortunate to find a bone marrow donor.
"It's just a little bag of blood and fluid," he explained.
