The joyous action shot shows Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis and Prince George all holding hands as they make the leap from a sand dune.

Kate penned a heartwarming message alongside the snap, which read: "Happy birthday Papa, we all love you so much! Cx"

It was uploaded on The Princess of Wales' official Instagram account.

Meanwhile, an adorable baby photograph of William was shared by King Charles to mark his son's birthday this morning.

The Monarch, 75, shared a heartwarming picture showing the prince perched on his lap as a tot.

In the touching black-and-white snap, Charles looked lovingly at his son, who was also brimming with joy.

The beautiful moment was captured at Kensington Palace in London, on February 1, 1983.

It was uploaded to the Royal Family X profile this morning.

The sweet message read: "Happy Birthday to the Prince of Wales!" and was credited to the Royal Collection Trust.

It comes after a never-before-seen picture of Prince William with his three children was shared on Father's Day.

The heartwarming snap of Wills embracing Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, was taken by Princess Kate in Norfolk last month while she bravely fights cancer.

It shows the trio looking out onto the sunny beach setting, and was uploaded to Kensington Palace's Instagram account.

Posted with a touching caption by the three youngsters, it read: "We love you, Papa. Happy Father’s Day. G, C & L."

It marked the first time a message from the children had been posted on the Palace's social media.

Wills also posted an emotional Father's Day tribute to his 'Pa' King Charles with a nostalgic photo taken 40 years ago.

The sweet throwback showed Wills as a toddler playing football with his dad on June 12, 1984.

"Happy Father's Day, Pa," the post, personally signed by William, said.

King Charles shared his own adorable Father's Day tribute to Prince Philip.

A video montage taken over 70 years ago filled with memories was also posted on the Royal Family's official Twitter account.

It was titled: "Wishing all Dads, and those who may be missing their parents today, a relaxing Father’s Day."

Meanwhile Prince Harry failed to acknowledge the celebratory day - and seemingly ignored his father's official birthday Trooping the Colour.

SHOW OF SUPPORT

Prince William and King Charles' sweet posts and nostalgic throwbacks show touching solidarity amid current pressures.

The King has bravely opened up about his cancer diagnosis and ongoing treatment.

Despite stepping back from public facing duties for a short period, His Majesty looked in top form at both Trooping the Colour on June 15, and Royal Ascot this week.

Charles proudly took to the stage to congratulate the winners after leading a carriage procession with Queen Camilla at the prestigious Berkshire event.

The Monarch chatted with jockeys as he presented a number of winners with awards during a glorious afternoon of racing.

He donned a grey coat tail, yellow waistcoat, blue tie and smart-looking top hat.

Meanwhile, Princess Kate has also been honest about her own cancer diagnosis and preventative chemotherapy treatment.

It has seen the royal mum-of-three away from the public eye for months, since announcing the shock in March.

Princess Kate's emotional statement

Kate revealed last week in an emotional statement: "I have been blown away by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the last couple of months.

"It really has made the world of difference to William and me and has helped us both through some of the harder times.

"I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days.

"On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to
your body resting.

"But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well."

Trooping the Colour was extra special this year thanks to Kate's triumphant return, after being absent from public duties since Christmas last year.

She delighted royal fans by appearing on the Buckingham Palace balcony alongside the King, Queen, Prince William and her children.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told The Sun: "The image I think so many people will have is of Catherine standing next to King Charles on the balcony.

“Here though, that relationship was highlighted to illustrate how those bonds have only deepened and enriched by their bonds of empathy created by their illnesses.

"This can be interpreted as a gesture of solidarity and support from Charles to Catherine."
