The Canadian was already 6-foot-1 at eight years old and reached the 7-foot mark before entering seventh grade.

Clips of the center playing for IMG Academy in Florida have been going viral for months.

And basketball fans couldn't believe their eyes seeing Rioux literally tower head and shoulders over his peers.

"Cheat mode *activated*," one wrote.

"Alien DNA," another added

"How is this even fair?" a third asked.

"Wow. Even Shaq stands on a stool to interview him," one joked.

Rioux was rated a three-star prospect by 247Sports.

He received offers from Stetson and Florida Atlantic in addition to the one from Florida.

"The schools that are really focusing in on him are ones that value the size and want to use it," Rioux's former coach Joey Mckitterick said of the center before he committed to the Gators.
